Have you ever smelled something so good that you had to track down where it was coming from? McDonald's Nederland turned that feeling into a clever ad! 😍

Working with TBWA\NEBOKOMcDonald's Nederland built billboards with an internal heating and ventilation system 🔥💨. The billboards released the irresistible scent of McDonald's fries 🍟🤤. No logo, no text—just the delicious scent floating through the streets. 🤤🚶‍♂️


📍 All the billboards were placed near a Mcdonald. Once the urge of grabbing a BigMac 🍔 comes up, you sure can find a Mcdonald close by.


The results? 𝟏.𝟓 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 📊🚀, 𝟖𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 💬❤️, and €𝟒𝟗.𝟗𝐌 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚📰🔥. Even better—𝟖𝟕% 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭👃, proving that a brand isn’t just about what we see but also what we smell!
